Remi Yamamoto

Remi is Vice President and Chief of Staff at Forerunner, quarterbacking company-wide strategic initiatives spanning networking, community engagement, and firm operations. 

Remi comes to Forerunner after over a decade in politics, government, and most recently, entertainment. Known for her sharp strategic advice and as a dogged fighter for her team, she has been called “unflinchingly loyal”  by former President Joe Biden. Remi began working for Biden when he announced his candidacy in 2019, serving as his traveling national press secretary, often referred to as one of the toughest jobs in politics, to serving as a Special Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor to the White House Chief of Staff during the Biden Administration. In this role, she oversaw strategic communications, press strategy, external stakeholder engagement, and political strategy for the White House Chief of Staff and the President's most senior aides. 

Most recently, she served as Vice President of Media Relations for Disney Entertainment, overseeing crisis communications, content communications, and executive communications for Disney Entertainment’s portfolio of brands and networks. 

Remi earned a bachelor's degree from George Washington University and attended the London School of Economics as a general course student. She was featured in the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
