Biography

Kirsten Green founded Forerunner Ventures in 2012 at a moment when most venture capital was focused on SaaS and infrastructure. Her conviction was different: that the way people relate to the world around them was fundamentally shifting, and that the founders who understood those shifts earliest could build generation-defining companies. Fourteen years in, that thesis has held and produced results — 10 consecutive appearances on the Forbes Midas List and engaged founder partnerships from seed stage through IPO.

The conviction driving every investment is simple: the most consequential companies are built by founders who understand the human as clearly as the technology. That belief has never been more relevant than now.

She holds a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA and is a licensed CPA and CFA charterholder.
