Why we invested

Forerunner invested in Superpower as part of a conviction that the balance of power in healthcare is shifting toward the consumer. For too long, the patient has not been the true customer — payors have been — which skews incentives and constrains innovation. Today, health has become aspirational: people track sleep scores, compare biomarkers, and invest in wellness outside the traditional system. The $1.8 trillion wellness industry is majority consumer-paid and growing at multiples of GDP. Superpower operationalizes that data into a durable system for ongoing prevention and action.
